General
From hereon "Artist" refers to myself while "Client" refers to the commissioner
1) Client agrees to all terms and conditions provided on this page prior to commissioning work for the Artist.
2) Artist reserves the right to refuse work for any reason(s) whether specified or unspecified.
3) Artist reserves full rights to all commissioned work including, but not limited to: promotional purposes by uploading on website/portfolio/social media, commercialization, and monetization. (See also "Non-Allowed Usage")
4) If promotion includes third party services provided by other artists (e.g. illustration, v-tuber artist/rigger, etc), the Artist agrees to promote the commissioned work only upon receiving permission from the other artists.
5) Client may purchase full rights to commissioned work. Details and terms to be discussed privately.
6) All service prices are specified as United States Dollars ($USD). It is the Client's responsibility to ensure that currencies are converted properly based on current exchange rates.
7) The Client agrees to prominently display Artist's handle ("music by @ooyumusic") when utilizing the commissioned work.
8) Transaction will only be done via Paypal. ALL PAYMENT IS NON-REFUNDABLE / NON-CANCELLABLE
Process
1) Client will reach out to Artist via Social Media DM, E-Mail, or Contact Form on the Home Page.
2) Client should be fully prepared with the following:

Number of tracks

Duration of each track

Purpose of each track (e.g. BGM, Lore Video, Full Original, YouTube intro, Stream Starting Soon, Stream Ending Soon, etc.)

2 - 3 References per track to describe what genre/mood/sound is desired
3) Artist and Client will discuss further to ensure proper requirements are to be met for commissioned work
4) Artist provides Client a quote
5) Once Client agrees to quote, Artist will prepare a ~0:30 sample/preview per track for approval. These samples are NOT to be used or shared publicly.

1 Major revision allowed per track (e.g. complete change in chord progression, mood, genre, melody).

A new sample/preview shall be provided to Client after major revision
5) Artist will provide Client an invoice via Paypal to be paid.
7) Upon payment, Artist will complete full composition of tracks and provide preview for each track before finalizing

2 Minor revisions allowed per track (e.g. addition or removal of sounds/instruments/FX, volume balance).
8) Artist will finalize tracks to be fully mixed and mastered as .WAV files at -13.0 to -10.0 LUFS (optimized loudness for most platforms)
Non-Allowed Usage:
1) The Client is prohibited from uploading the work for sole purpose of commercial monetization.
This includes, but not limited to:

The use of distribution services (e.g. "Distrokid") for platforms (e.g. "Spotify", "Apple Music", "YouTube Music")

Audio-only monetized uploads (e.g. YouTube video)
2) The only monetization allowed is the use of commissioned work alongside Client's unique content

example: if you have a YouTube video of yourself playing a game or interacting with a community while the commissioned work is playing in the background
3) Any third party does NOT have permission or authorization to use the commissioned work, both commercially or non-commercially, without directly reaching out to the Artist first.
Fraudulent Chargeback:
In the case of a fraudulent chargeback being filed, Client will lose any and all rights to commissioned work, and thus will be re-sold/re-purposed. Client will indefinitely be prohibited from commissioning the Artist again. Client's name/handle will be publicly shared on social media with the sole purpose of protecting other artists.
